|
This day begins with a morning visit to the temple of Sakkara for the first rite of passage. This is a huge and very unique temple complex. As you enter into the temple facade you are funneled down a pathway of columns. Reach out your fingertips towards the columns and feel the energy coming from them. Sakkara is a temple of sound and crystal magic. Where the stellar energy grounds into earth and earth energy grounds into the sky. There are many special places to discover as Sakkara, such as the coiled cobras that are spectacularly detailed and the step pyramid. The ‘looking pools’ are small windows, that you can place your head in and think of someone who needs healing. Make a sound and receive information about what would help them and the origin of their imbalance. We will work in a private empowerment with the energies of the pyramid texts and symbology to awaken the understanding of the synchronicities and symbols in your life.
Lunch and opportunities to shop at the Khan Khalili Bazaar. The atmospheres of this traditional market, together with the labyrinth layout of the streets, gives you a glimpse into what medieval markets once were like.
Afternoon visit of the Cairo Museum . Our word-renowned Egyptologist Emil Shaker, guides us through this famous museum with a collection of over 200,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts, dating back to 4,000 BC. Visiting the museum is an opportunity to see the statues and artifacts that originally were located in the temples, this paints a fuller picture when you go the temples, like seeing the original furniture designed for a house. There you will experience first-hand the different periods of ancient Egypt and the individual artistic and architectural styles of each period. One of the highlights of this museum is the visit to the treasures of Tut-Ank-Amon. There will be time to explore the museum on your own.
In the evening we gently approach the energy of Upper Egypt with an overnight sleeper-train to Aswan.

| Day 5 |
|
We arrive in the morning in Aswan and check into our beautiful private sailing yacht.
In the afternoon we sail to the South end of Elephantine Island by taking a Felucca, which is a smallish sail boat operated by Nubians, the original people of Upper Egypt. The felucca ride is enchanted with celebrations of drumming and dancing with the Nubians. A beautiful botanical garden, filled with fragrant flowers and lush greenery, marks the entrance to the temple complex of Elephantine Island. This land is dedicated to the rams headed creator God Khnum and there is a chapel dedicated to him and his consort Satet. This temple is still partially intact and is built upon layers and layers and layers of temples below it. Each temple of the past is dismantled and another built upon it. Elephantine Island feels truly divine and magical and is also a wonderful place to see the layers of ancient Egypt unfold before you and feel her roots. In an empowerment meditation at the Temple of Khnum we will work on connecting to the energy of this fertile land and strengthening our natural ability to give and receive. |
| |
| Day 6 |
Enjoy a free day in Aswan. Visit the excellent Nubian Museum, explore the Aswan market and bazaar, stroll through the exquisite botanical garden or just relax and integrate by the pool.
|

| Day 7 |
|
We sail before sunrise to the island of Isis’s temple Philae for an exclusive visit. Philae is one of the most beautiful sites in Egypt. It is surrounded by water and filled with enchantment and the energy of love, which so palpable it feels as if one is floating in liquid love. Isis is the Goddess of divine love, magic, healing and forgiveness. At the Holy of Hollies entrain to pure love consciousness with a heart opening initiation. Free time in Aswan before we sail to Kom Ombo
|
| |
| Day 8 |
| Preparation circle on deck before visit to Kom Ombo. This temple is dedicated to two Gods, Sobek and Horus. Sobek the crocodile God sprung into creation from the primordial waters of darkness. Horus the Hawk represents the higher perspective and the golden light. The duality of light/ dark, yin/yang, conscious/unconscious is apparent in this ancient site. One of the most powerful places in Kom Ombo is the Seat of Neutrality, which is placed on the exact centerline between the parts of the temple that are dedicated to Horus or Sobek and Light or Dark. Just sitting on this stone seat you enter into a state of neutrality and complete stillness and any thoughts you may have had simply vanish. During the meditation we will further activate the gift of neutrality to transcend the energies of polarity and gain greater acceptance and peace.
In the afternoon we will continue our sail down the Nile to Edfu - settle back, relax and enjoy the unique beauty of the scenery. | |
|
| |
| Day 9 |
Early in the morning we leave our boat for a private visit of the temple of Edfu. Edfu is one of the most intact temples in Egypt and is dedicated to the Hawk headed God Horus. While you are approaching the beautifully illuminated temple complex, you become aware of its enormous dimensions. with a vast courtyard, a forest of towering columns and high ceilings. The entrance way is framed by two huge falcons with a statue of the pharaoh leaned against them. Horus is associated with higher vision and clarity. The eye of Horus greatly relates to his myth and power. The left eye represents the lunar, the moon the intuitive, the feminine energy. The right eye is connected to the solar, the masculine, the action, and the yang energy. Both are necessary for true power to exist. In a private empowerment we will work with balancing the lunar and the solar energies inside of us and awaken our intuitive centers to be able to experience a higher perspective.
After another delicious break-fast buffet on board, we continue sailing to Luxor. Afternoon circle on deck. |
| |
| Day 10 |
Visit the Necropolois of Thebes, on the West Bank of the Nile and explore the tombs of pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings and mortuary temples at Medinet Habu and Deir El-Bahari (the temple of Queen Hatchepsut). The ancient Egyptians lived on the East Bank where the sun rises and buried their dead on the West Bank where the sun sets. As we visit these incredible ancient sites connect to the consciousness of eternal life and participate in the ancient empowerments which lighten your heart and realign all of you with divine order. Have the opportunity, if you chose to let go of parts of you that have already died and no longer serve you with the assitance of Anubis the jackal headed god of the underworld. Explore the cycles of life, death and rebirth and the ancient funerary myths deeply routed in the Egyptian Mysteries.
We will disembark from the Dahabiya and check into the beautiful St. George hotel . |
| |
| Day 11 |
We begin the day with an early morning visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple. Karnak is the biggest temple complex in Egypt - and a very special place. It is dedicated to the Gods Amun and Mut. As you enter you walk between a row of rams headed sphinxes, which originally connected Karnak with Luxor Temple two miles away. Take some time to visit the sacred lake of Karnak, ask for purification and place your intention in your mind's eye into the lake.
Outside the main halls, is a small chapel dedicated to Sekhmet, her consort Ptah and their son Nefertum. Sekhmet is the lioness Goddess of compassion and courage. She is associated with feminine fire and healing through destruction. She is a renowned healer and known for her magic and ability to hunt down an imbalance at its origin. In a potent private initiation we will honor the Goddess and receive the gift of courage to be our authentic selves. Read also Danielle's article on Sekhmet - Unbridled Authenticity.
Afternoon free to explore Luxor's market, museum, and other fascinating sites.
Night visit to the Temple of Luxor and work with the brilliance of the human body. Walk through the rows or rams headed Sphinxes that connect to Karnak temple. Here we are able to see that this temple is built like a human body. The outside layers represent the feet and as we move deeper into the temple we move towards the head, where the holy of holies, the inner sanctuary is located. This is a wonderful place to focus on physical healing, as you walk through the body of this temple notice how your body feels and re-member radiant health. Luxor Temple is also associated with stellar consciousness, the aspect of us that is a star. Awaken the parts of you that are sleeping, activate divinity codes and turn on your inner light. |
| |
| Day 12 |
Morning visit by bus through the timeless countryside to Dendera where you will visit the exquisite temple dedicated to Hathor to experience her mysteries of love, laughter and joy. Dis-integrate fear and activate your instinctual bliss centers so you can enjoy your life to the fullest.
Then visit the temple Abydos, temple of Osiris, to delve deeply into the art of remembering. Our path through Egypt is one that aligns deeply with the myth of Isis and Osiris. Osiris was killed by his brother Seth and his body was dis-membered into 14 different parts and scattered throughout Egypt. Isis built a temple at each place she found a part of Osiris body. As we journey through Egypt we are collecting the fragmented and dis-membered parts of ourselves. In a private initiation work with your spinal column and the backbone of Osiris the Djed to activate your inner remembering and to become your largest self. See the ‘Flower of Life’and the preserved colors on the temple walls. |
